The amino acid sequence of 6.5k-arginine/glutamate rich polypeptide (6.5k-AGRP) from the seeds of sponge gourd (Luffa cylindrica) has been determined. The 6.5k-AGRP consists of a 47-residue polypeptide chain containing two disulfide bonds, and a molecular mass calculated to be 5695 Da, which fully coincides with a value of [Μ + H] + = m/z 5693.39 obtained by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). The mass spectrometric evidence indicated that 6.5k-AGRP is also present partially truncated at the C-terminus. In our preparations, approximately half of the polypeptide molecules have the C-terminal sequence Arg-Arg-Glu-Val-Asp; the other half lack Val-Asp and end with the glutamic acid, making a total of 45 residues in the polypeptide chain. The two disulfide bonds connect Cys12 to Cys33 and Cys16 to Cys29. Comparison of the amino acid sequence of 6.5k-AGRP with those of the other known proteins included in the PIR protein sequence database showed that it is related to the amino acid sequence of the N-terminal region encoded by the first exon of the cocoa (Theobroma cacao) and cotton seeds vicilin genes, sharing a characteristic two Cys-Xaa-Xaa-Xaa-Cys motif.  相似文献

植物角质层是覆盖在植物地上部分的叶、花和非木质茎等器官表面的保护层,包括角质和蜡质。其中蜡质根据分布位置不同又分为表皮蜡质和内部蜡质。大量研究表明,表皮蜡质含量和结构在植物生长发育和抗逆性申发挥着重要作用。近年来有研究发现构成蜡质的成分在内外蜡质层中的分布存在差异,角质层蜡质成分影响植物抗逆性。本文针对角质层结构和内外蜡质差异性以及角质层结构和组成与植物抗逆性之间的关系进行了综述。  相似文献

The composition of the epicuticular leaf n‐alkanes of eight populations of three Satureja montana subspecies (S. montana L. subsp. pisidica (Wettst.) ?ili? , S. montana L. subsp. montana, and S. montana L. subsp. variegata (Host ) P. W. Ball ), from central and western areas of the Balkan Peninsula was characterized by GC‐FID and GC/MS analyses. In the leaf waxes, 15 n‐alkane homologs with chain‐lengths ranging from C21 to C35 were identified. The main n‐alkane in almost all samples was n‐nonacosane (C29), but differences in the contents of three other dominant n‐alkanes allowed separating the coastal from the continental populations. The diversity and variability of the epicuticular‐leaf‐n‐alkane patterns and their relation to different geographic and bioclimatic parameters were analyzed by several statistical methods (principal component, discriminant, and cluster analyses as well as the Mantel test). All tests showed a high correlation between the leaf n‐alkane pattern and the geographical distribution of the investigated populations, confirming the differentiation between S. montana subsp. pisidica and the other two subspecies. The S. montana subsp. variegata and S. montana subsp. montana populations are geographically closer and their differentiation according to the leaf‐n‐alkane patterns was not clear, even though there was some indication of discrimination between them. Moreover, most of the bioclimatic parameters related to temperature were highly correlated with the differentiation of the coastal and the continental populations.  相似文献

【背景】瓜实蝇是重要的瓜果害虫,研究其在田间的时空分布可为进一步探讨成虫在栖息地的迁移规律奠定基础。【方法】试验于2013年9月17日~11月8日在广州市白云区广东省农业科学院试验基地进行。试验地面积约6900 m2,其中,苦瓜地面积为34 m×19 m。以黄绿色粘板进行诱捕取样,点算粘板上瓜实蝇雌、雄成虫个体数,以地学统计学方法研究瓜实蝇成虫的时空分布动态。【结果】瓜实蝇成虫密度有2个峰;其半变异函数多为高斯模型,在调查范围内空间格局为聚集分布,变程范围为9.648~65.580 m,空间异质性是由空间自相关引起。【结论与意义】运用Kriging插值法,由软件Surfer10.0绘制的密度等值线图清楚地反映出瓜实蝇成虫主要分布于苦瓜地内,呈现出瓜实蝇成虫被苦瓜吸引,并迅速繁殖及之后向瓜地外扩散的变动特征。  相似文献

春季对大棚瓠瓜CO2,可促进植株的生长发育,株高,茎粗增幅分别达到3.90%-19.48%和11.58%-27.37%,叶片厚度及叶面积也分别增加38.46%-69.23%和26.09%-49.38%;第一雌花着生节位平均降低2.6-4.0节,平均单果重增加4.05%-19.62%,产量 提高8.65%-19.47%,在1000μmol.mol^-1范围内,CO2浓度每增加100μmol.mol^-1,单果重和产量分别增加31.97g和68.39kg.667m^-2,第一雌花着生节位降低0.35节,在1000μmol.mol^-1浓度下,瓠瓜光合速率和羧化速率均达最高值,春季大棚瓠瓜CO2适宜施用浓度为1000μmol.mol^-1左右。  相似文献

Naturally occurring macromolecules present at the epicuticular wax/stalk tissue interface of sugarcane were investigated using near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). Investigations of water, cellulose, and wax‐cellulose interrelationships were possible using NIRS methods, where in the past many different techniques have been required. The sugarcane complex interface was used as an example of typical phenomena found at plant leaf/stalk interfaces. This detailed study showed that sugarcane cultivars exhibit spectral differences in the CHn, water OH, and cellulose OH regions, reflecting the presence of epicuticular wax, epidermis, and ground tissue. Spectrally complex water bands (5276 cm?1 and 7500–6000 cm?1) were investigated via freeze‐drying experiments which revealed sequentially a complex band substructure (7500–6000 cm?1), a developing weak H‐bonding system (~7301 cm?1), and strong H‐bonding (~7062 cm?1) assigned to water—cellulose interactions. Principal component analysis techniques clarified complex band trends that developed during the desorption experiment. Bands from wax‐free stalk were minimized in the 4327–4080 cm?1 region (C? Hn vibrational modes associated with long chain fatty compounds), while bands from the stalk tissue (particularly lignin and moisture) became more pronounced. The effect of tripalmitin (TP) crystallization on the thermomechanical properties of organogels developed with candelilla wax (CW) was investigated using safflower oil high in triolein (HOSFO) as the liquid phase. Factorial combinations of CW (i.e., 0–3%) and TP (i.e., 0–1%) in the HOSFO were used to develop organogels at three different temperatures (T set). The onset of crystallization (T g) during the cooling stage (10 °C/min), the melting temperature (T M), and the corresponding heat of melting (ΔH M) of the organogels were determined by differential scanning calorimetry. Results showed that, without CW, the crystallization of TP in the HOSFO at the concentrations and T set investigated (i.e., −10 °C to 25 °C) did not develop a three-dimensional network that provided significant viscoelasticity (i.e., solid-like behavior) to the HOSFO. The CW developed organogels in the HOSFO with T M’s that increased from ≈30.5 °C up to ≈42.5 °C as a function of CW concentration. In contrast, in the CW–1% TP system, the co-crystallization of TP and CW resulted in organogels with TM’s that varied just between 36 °C and 38 °C, independent of the CW concentration. Higher elastic modulus (G′) and yield stress (σ*) were obtained with 3% CW–1.0% TP organogels than with organogels developed just by CW, particularly at T set’s of −5 °C and 15 °C. This research showed that co-crystallization of TP and CW, occurring at different extent as a function of T set, resulted in organogels with thermomechanical properties different from the ones showed by CW organogels. The results showed that co-crystallization of triacylglycerides with CW might be a useful alternative to tailor particular physicochemical properties associated to a specific functionality (i.e., melting profile and texture). Organogelation of vegetable oil might be used to develop trans-free vegetable-oil-based spreads and coatings and also novel food products with new textural perceptions for the consumers.  相似文献
